Players in Crash Team Rumble compete in teams of four to see who can rack up the greatest quantity of Wumpa Fruit. Every player has their own set of special abilities, and the teams have to collaborate in order to succeed. The rumors about Crash Team Rumble have been going around for a while, despite the fact that the game was just announced. There have been reports about a “Wumpa League” video game featuring Crash Bandicoot since at least the year 2021. Did You Know Gaming‘s Liam Robertson announced in June that Wumpa League had been restarted while releasing concept art, and gameplay footage for a version of the game that had been scrapped. -Paul Yan After the release of King‘s endless runner mobile game Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! in 2021, this is the next Crash project to be developed by Toys for Bob (after the release of 2020‘s Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time). The trailer featured several playable characters, including Crash, his sister Coco, the evil Dr. Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy, and Tawna Bandicoot. Rumble’s trailers have shown off a villainous bat-themed character, among many others, and the game’s teasers have promised even more. Crash Team Rumble will be similar to the multiplayer online battle arena genre of games due to the emphasis on character customization. A number of other details also suggest that every character has their own set of skills and weapons. Coco is also seen in the trailer making a dash for Aku Aku, who has the power to cause meteor showers. This gives off a sense of ultimate abilities for each character. We don’t know if it will eventually make it to PC, despite the fact that it is currently in development for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. No information is available at this time regarding the addition of cross-platform play. However, expanding matchmaking to more platforms and players is the best way to ensure that multiplayer games always have full lobbies. In any case, that’s all we know for the time being, rest assured, we’ll keep you posted as new information becomes available. Until then, let us know in the comments what you think of this new addition to the Crash lineup, which features a relatively different style of gameplay.
